“ I can’t say enough about David Ard and the ARD Bodies Fitness culture he represents. I joined Ard Bodies Fitness in 2013 coming in at 220 lbs. and not able to run more than a minute at a time. David Ard took me on a fitness journey accomplishing goals that I thought were impossible. Our first goal shed the weight. I lost 42 lbs. Our next goal was to be able to run like I saw others do on the treadmill at the gym. Not only did I learn to run, I was out winning local 5k runs! My  next goal was to compete in a local Mud Run. Ard Bodies Fitness completed as a team and I won 3rd place. We went back in the gym, trained for another 6 months and I won 1st place at the next Mud Run. No matter what level you’re at or what your fitness goals are David Ard, through his knowledge, encouragement, and a persistence that never lets you down, will get you to your goals. It’s a lot of hARD work and totally worth it. "

“ The experience I’ve had at Ard Bodies Fitness has been life changing! I sought out a personal trainer a year and a half before my wedding because I wanted to look my absolute best. I had worked out in different gyms throughout college but I never knew exactly what to do and it was always intimidating starting new gyms with new equipment, not knowing how to use it. My first session at Ard Bodies Fitness consisted of Dave performing an intake assessment to gauge what my current physical abilities were. From there, he will create customized circuits to perform throughout the week and rotates these often so his clients don’t get bored. He incorporates both cardio and strength training and is always researching new workouts and routines. " When I turned 30 I decided to get serious about my health and physical fitness. I joined a gym and trained 4-5 days per week. I thought I knew what I was doing and the aches and pains in my joints and back were just part of "training hard."  My fiance introduced me to David and I realized there is more to working out than just pounding weights. At first, I was a little nervous and insecure working out with a male trainer, but I quickly noticed David's professionalism and non-judgmental demeanor. David has helped me understand why we do certain excercises, how it impacts muscle growth, and the importance of proper form. He is an excellent teacher and makes it easy to understand.
